PhD Researcher at the University of Southampton & National Oceanography Centre, studying how El Niño–Southern Oscillation evolves in a warming climate and shapes extreme events worldwide.
Southampton, United Kingdom
About
I study the dynamics of the El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO) and how it is reshaped under anthropogenic warming. My work combines eddy-resolving, high-resolution climate model simulations with targeted sensitivity experiments to disentangle the mechanisms driving tropical Pacific variability and its global teleconnections.
My research sits at the intersection of physical oceanography, ocean–atmosphere coupling, climate variability and change, and ocean modelling, with growing interests in applying AI/ML techniques to climate science problems.
